RuAPI is topped up in USDT (or USDC). If you don’t have USDT yet, you can buy it with rubles from a Russian bank card or via SBP, then send it to RuAPI. The first time takes 15–30 minutes; after that, a few minutes.

Which way to choose

When sending to RuAPI, use only TRC20 or BEP20 (Polygon also works but is less common). We don’t accept TON or ERC20 — transfers on those networks will not arrive. See Top up balance for details.

Method 1. Crypto Bot in Telegram

Buy USDT on the P2P market

In @CryptoBot, open the P2P market → buy USDT for RUB → choose a payment method (SBP, Sberbank, T-Bank, etc.).Pick a seller with a high rating and many completed deals. Buy a little extra — about 2 USDT — to cover the network fee when you withdraw.

Pay the seller using the details in the deal

Transfer rubles from your own card exactly to the details shown in the deal, then tap “I have paid”. While the deal is open, the seller’s USDT is locked by the platform; once the seller confirms, it lands in your bot balance.

Create a top-up invoice on RuAPI

Console → Wallet Management → enter the amount (from $5) → USDT / USDC → choose USDT and the TRC20 or BEP20 network. Copy the address and the exact amount.

Send USDT from the bot

In @CryptoBot: wallet → USDT → withdraw to an external address → choose the same network as in the RuAPI invoice → paste the address and amount.
Check that the amount to be received is at least the invoice amount: the network fee is sometimes deducted from the amount you send.

Method 2. Bybit P2P

Bybit serves users from Russia without a VPN, accepts Russian passports, and supports payment via Sberbank, T-Bank and SBP.

Sign up and verify

On bybit.com: a Russian passport (internal or international) and a selfie. Usually takes 3–10 minutes.

Buy USDT via P2P

P2P → Buy → USDT for RUB → choose a payment method and a highly rated seller. Pay using the details in the deal and confirm the payment. The USDT arrives in your exchange account.

Withdraw USDT to RuAPI

Create an invoice in the RuAPI Console (TRC20 or BEP20), then on Bybit: Withdraw → USDT → the same network → the address and amount from the invoice. Check the “amount to receive” field.
Exchanges sometimes temporarily restrict withdrawals for new accounts — that is the exchange’s rule, not RuAPI’s.

Method 3. An exchanger via BestChange

BestChange monitors exchangers: it compares rates and shows reviews and reserves. It doesn’t take money itself — the exchanger you pick does the exchange.

Choose the exchange direction

On the left (“You give”), your bank (for example, Sberbank RUB or SBP); on the right (“You get”), Tether TRC20 (USDT).

Choose an exchanger

Don’t just take the first row: look at reviews, how long the exchanger has operated, and its USDT reserve. The minimum is usually from 1,000 ₽.

Receive USDT to your own wallet

Enter the address of your own wallet (for example, in @CryptoBot or Telegram Wallet), not the address from the RuAPI invoice: the amount after the exchange may differ slightly, and a RuAPI invoice is valid for a limited time. Once the USDT arrives, send it to RuAPI as in step 4 of method 1.

How to avoid scams

  • Only trade inside the platform. Don’t send money to a seller outside the deal or move to private messages — the platform can’t protect you there.
  • Pay from your own card, exactly to the details in the deal.
  • A seller asks you to cancel the deal after paying or to “pay an extra fee” — that’s a scam. Open a dispute (appeal) on the platform.
  • Check the bot name and the website address — fake copies of Crypto Bot and exchanges are common. The official Crypto Bot is only t.me/CryptoBot.

FAQ

No: international payments with Russian-issued cards don’t go through right now. Buying USDT with rubles once is the practical way to pay RuAPI from a Russian card.
The minimum RuAPI top-up is $5. Add about 2 USDT for the network fee on withdrawal. The fee hardly depends on the amount, so it’s cheaper to top up less often and in larger amounts — plus, preset amounts on the top-up page come with discounts.
Either — what matters is that the network you withdraw on matches the one in the RuAPI invoice. Withdrawal fees depend on the platform, so compare before sending.
Check the network and wait up to 30 minutes. If the balance still hasn’t updated, contact support on Telegram or [email protected] with the transaction TXID. See Top up balance for details.
